Hours: 38 Hours per week – Flexible and/or fewer working hours may be possible.
Salary: 12k-14k (plus bonuses)
We are a small professional award winning organisation with a strong reputation as a leader in the field of ‘Custom Install’ & ‘Systems Integration’; incorporating the design, installation and programming of structured cabling systems, home automation, home cinema, AV, acoustical treatments, lighting control, CCTV, entry access, computer networking and associated technologies.
We are currently looking to create a new role in our small Company to organise the Director, manage his diary and assist in easing his current workload, with your role in marketing a high priority.
As this is a newly created role it will be up to you to implement your own ideas and systems as well as take direction on setting up efficient systems.
You must be able to type, letters, quotes, proposals etc. We need someone who is proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Mail-merge.
As well as running the office, doing all day-to- day admin; taking phone calls, sorting post, raising invoices; you will also be tasked with creating a marketing strategy that will enable us to mailshot clients and tele-market to existing and prospective buyers.
You will assist at a couple of exhibitions per year talking to new prospects about what we do and what we can offer, this would involve weekend work.
You would be responsible for any eBay selling we do as a company.
You will be expected to liaise with suppliers and customers, as well as the team and you will evolve this role to take all administrative tasks away from the director and engineers.
The successful candidate will be bright, with excellent telephone manner and affable nature. Being able to work with minimum direction and under one’s on steam imperative.
